The Galleries boosts vital supplies to Dubai's Latifa hospital

Limitless will host a special blood donation day at The Galleries on Wednesday 14 August in an effort to boost vital supplies to Dubai’s Latifa Hospital.

Latifa Hospital, which runs Dubai’s central blood bank and supplies trauma centres and government and private hospitals across the emirate, is in desperate need of emergency blood following a dip in donations during Ramadan.  As a result, Limitless is calling on Galleries tenants, businesses in surrounding areas such as Jafza, and its own employees to give blood on Wednesday.

The event, from 9am until 2.30pm, will take place in the newly-opened Limitless Business Lounge in The Galleries Building 3, where Latifa Hospital will set up a special blood donation clinic.

Bahaa Abouhatab, Head of Projects for Limitless in the UAE, said:  “With more than 2,000 people based at The Galleries and many thousands more in surrounding areas, we are confident of a good response to our blood donation day. Our previous ‘give blood’ campaigns have been a great success, and we are delighted to see our corporate tenants encouraging their employees to be part of this worthy cause.”

To reach The Galleries and give blood on Wednesday, take exit 20 from Sheikh Zayed Road (Abu Dhabi-bound) and follow the signs directly to Downtown Jebel Ali. Or, take the Dubai Metro and exit at the Jebel Ali station, just 200 metres from The Galleries.
