Limitless community event draws wide support from tenants and staff

The Galleries at Downtown Jebel Ali is getting ready to hold its second Blood Donation Drive – on Tuesday 1 February – for Dubai’s Al Wasl Hospital.
The initiative kicks off a series of community events at The Galleries in 2011, and builds on the success of its first ‘give blood’ day last July, in which nearly 100 tenants and staff from Limitless and Dubai World took part.
Bahaa Abouhatab, Project Director at The Galleries, is one of scores of people to sign up to give blood on 1 February.  He said: “Emergency blood is in constant demand here in Dubai, and it is wonderful to see our commercial tenants, retail tenants and employees joining forces in support of this worthy cause.
“Our flagship project in Dubai, The Galleries plans a number of Blood Donation Drives and other community events this year, not only to create social interaction among our growing number of tenants and visitors, but also to support the wider communities of Dubai and other parts of the UAE.”
Office and retail tenants already operating at The Galleries include Oregano restaurant, Fresh Plus convenience store, Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, Mushmaool eatery, Diamond Lease, Kraft Foods, L’Oreal, Ericsson, SPX, Capitalstone and Permasteelisa Gartner.  Soon to open are Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Subway, Appetite, Nordsee, with more commercial and retail deals being finalised.
The Galleries at Downtown Jebel Ali is on Sheikh Zayed Road, less than an hour’s drive from Abu Dhabi. To find out more about joining The Galleries’ growing community, call 971 44357868 or visit www.downtownjebelali.com
