Galleries gears up for Earth Hour this weekend
The Galleries at Downtown Jebel Ali will plunge into darkness this weekend in support of Earth Hour.  All perimeter lights and giant LED screens at The Galleries’ four office towers will be switched off for 24 hours from 5pm on Saturday (31 March), as part of Limitless’ commitment to energy conservation and sustainability at the mixed-use project. Galleries tenants are also encouraged to turn off lights at individual offices and retail stores within the development.
The Galleries uses low-energy lights throughout its buildings and grounds.

New U-turn improves safety and cuts congestion for Galleries commuters
A new road layout on Lahbab Road in Dubai has improved safety, cut congestion and dramatically reduced journey times for motorists heading out of The Galleries.
Until recently, Galleries commuters faced lengthy queues and daily congestion on their journeys home, but a new U-turn – constructed by the RTA in response to a lengthy campaign by Limitless – has paved the way for safer, easier and quicker trips.
The new layout has been welcome by Galleries tenants and visitors.  Neil Walmsley, Gulf Transport Lead at commercial tenants Arup, said: “The recent safety and capacity improvements on the local road network near Downtown Jebel Ali have been welcomed by colleagues unable to take advantage of the excellent connectivity to Dubai Metro.”
