57,000 sqm now occupied at Dubai's newest business community

Limitless welcomed more international businesses to The Galleries in Q1 2013, with chemical giant BASF and global innovative products and materials firm DuPont moving in to Dubai’s fastest growing business community.

Around 57,000 square metres (73 per cent) of available commercial space is now occupied at The Galleries, which comprises four A-grade office towers, 6,300 sqm of retail space and a 20,000 sqm landscaped plaza.  BASF and DuPont are among the latest firms to join The Galleries’ growing list of international and local tenants, taking more than 2,000 sqm between them.

Other key activity at The Galleries in Q1 2013:

·  International Energy Resources FZCO signed a lease for 370 sqm of office space
·  Siemens entity Siemens Middle East Ltd took half a floor (734 sqm).  Siemens LLC itself already occupies more than 7,000 sqm at The Galleries
·  Lounge Café coffee shop opened a 111 sqm outlet with indoor and outdoor seating
·  Limitless inked new retail leasing deals with a nursery and more banks. Currently, eight global banks – occupying 1,900 sqm between them – are operating or soon to open at The Galleries, with more in the pipeline.

Current tenants at The Galleries include BASF, DuPont, Siemens, L’Oreal, Ericsson, Mondelez International (formerly Kraft Foods), China National Petroleum Company, SPX Corporation, Hoffman La Roche, Nikon, Permasteelisa Gartner, Daikin McQuay, Arup, Apollo Tyres, Dubai World and Atos. Onsite retailers currently open or coming soon: HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, Bank of Baroda, Arab Bank, Commercial Bank International, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Blom Bank, Desco, Star Digital Print, 1762 Deli, Oregano Restaurant, Click Restaurant, Lounge Café, Fresh Plus convenience store and Diamond Lease car hire.

The Galleries is an eight-building mixed-use project including four completed, fully operational commercial towers and extensive retail space set in shaded, landscaped grounds that span 20,000 sqm – the size of three international football pitches.  Limitless is currently exploring options for the completion of The Galleries’ first residential tower.
The Galleries is an hour by car from Abu Dhabi and directly accessed from Sheikh Zayed Road or via the Jebel Ali Metro Station, which is linked to the office towers via a shaded walkway. There are 2,500 parking spaces as well as onsite Facilities Management and Tenant Relations teams.
